Our Approach

We find the root cause.
Then we fix it.

Most clinics treat the area that hurts and hope it works. We dig deeper. By finding what's actually causing your pain and targeting it precisely, you get out of pain faster and stay out of pain longer.

01
Find the real problem
Your knee pain might not be a knee problem. We assess the whole movement system, not just where you feel it.
02
Every session has a purpose
No generic protocols. Every minute of every session targets the specific deficit we found in your assessment.
03
Treatment from day one
You don't wait until session three. Hands-on work, dry needling, or shockwave starts on your first visit.
04
You leave knowing what's next
A clear diagnosis, a bespoke programme, and a costed plan with a realistic timeline. No surprises.
The System

Three phases to lasting recovery.

Phase one settles your pain. Phase two builds the strength to keep it gone. Phase three makes you resilient enough that the problem doesn't come back.

Phase One
01
Settle the pain
Calm the immediate flare-up so you can move and sleep again. Most patients feel improvement within 2 to 3 sessions.
  • Manual therapy
  • Soft tissue and dry needling
  • Shockwave if appropriate
Phase Two
02
Build the strength
Address the root cause with strength, mobility and control work targeted at the deficits we found.
  • Progressive loading
  • Movement retraining
  • Sport-specific drills
Phase Three
03
Bulletproof for life
Return to full training, lifting, running or sport with the resilience to stay there.
  • Return-to-sport testing
  • Maintenance plan
  • Ongoing support

Sound Familiar?

Yes, we treat that.

The most common reasons patients book their first assessment. If yours isn't listed, it doesn't mean we can't help. Just call us.
Questions, Answered

Before you book.

The questions new patients ask us most often. If you've got something else on your mind, just call.

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us. We're chartered physiotherapists registered with the HCPC and CSP, so you have full direct access. If we think you need imaging or a specialist opinion, we'll refer you on.
How many sessions will I actually need?
It depends on the condition, but you'll never be left guessing. At the end of your first assessment we give you a clear, costed plan with a realistic session count and timeline. Most acute injuries respond well within 3 to 6 sessions; chronic and tendon issues typically take longer.
What should I wear?
Gym kit. Shorts for lower-body issues, a vest or t-shirt for upper-body. We need to see how you move, so anything that lets you do that comfortably is fine.
Do you accept private health insurance?
We work with most major UK insurers including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, WPA and Vitality. Check with your insurer before booking and bring your authorisation code to your first appointment.
How soon can I be seen?
Usually within 24 to 72 hours. We hold same-week appointments specifically for new patients in acute pain. Book online or call us and we'll find you the earliest slot.
What if I'm not sure my problem is right for physio?
Call us first. We'd rather have a quick honest conversation than have you book an appointment that isn't the right fit. If physio isn't the answer, we'll point you toward who can actually help.
Where are you, and is there parking?
27 Norfolk Street, Baltic Triangle, Liverpool L1 0BE. Free on-street parking on Norfolk Street and the surrounding streets after 6pm and on weekends. Pay-and-display during weekday daytime hours. We're a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Central station.
