Foot pain treatment in Liverpool that restores movement
Foot pain is one of the most common reasons people seek help from a podiatrist, chiropodist, or GP in Liverpool. But while many podiatry clinics focus on orthotics or nail surgery, our physiotherapist-led clinic looks deeper, at the way your body moves, loads, and responds to stress.
Whether you are dealing with pain from running, daily walking, or a long-term foot and ankle condition, we offer a more complete assessment and treatment approach. We take a whole-body view to help you move without pain, avoid surgery where possible, and reduce reliance on insoles long term.

What we treat
Common foot conditions we treat
At our Liverpool foot clinic we specialise in a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal foot conditions, including:
Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
Sharp heel pain, especially first thing in the morning, treated at the root cause.
Achilles tendinopathy
Pain and stiffness in the Achilles, common in runners and active people.
Flat feet and fallen arches
Overpronation and arch problems, managed with strength and movement, not just insoles.
Bunions and toe joint pain
Pain and stiffness in the big toe and forefoot, managed conservatively.
Morton's neuroma
Burning or tingling pain in the ball of the foot between the toes.
Metatarsalgia and forefoot pain
Pain and pressure across the ball of the foot, often from loading or mechanics.
Arthritis in the midfoot or big toe
Joint pain and stiffness, managed with movement and strength.
Old injuries, post-op, and ankle pain
Rehab after injury or surgery, restoring strength and movement.
Rehab, not insoles
Why we do not rely on insoles
In most cases, foot pain is not caused by a lack of arch support. It is caused by weak or inactive foot muscles, joint stiffness, poor movement habits, or load intolerance. Insoles can reduce pressure, but they often mask symptoms and let the foot get weaker.
Restore movement
We restore natural foot movement and joint mobility rather than restricting the foot.
Build strength
We strengthen the foot and retrain your walking and running mechanics so it can support itself.
Whole-body view
We address knee, hip, or posture issues higher up that may be driving your foot pain.

Questions? We have got answers
Are you a podiatry clinic?
We are a physiotherapy-led foot clinic, a modern alternative to traditional podiatry. Rather than relying on orthotics or nail surgery, we treat the root cause of foot pain through hands-on assessment, rehab, and functional movement. We work with HCPC-registered podiatrists when nail surgery is needed.
Do I need a referral to see a foot physio?
No referral needed. You can book directly as a self-paying patient. We also accept Simplyhealth and Medicash cash plans.
Will I need insoles?
Not usually. In most cases foot pain is not caused by a lack of arch support. We focus on restoring movement and building strength so your foot can support itself, reducing long-term reliance on insoles.
What conditions do you treat?
Plantar fasciitis and heel pain, Achilles tendinopathy, flat feet, bunions, Morton's neuroma, metatarsalgia, arthritis, and post-injury or post-surgical foot rehab.
What should I wear?
Shorts or loose clothing that allows access to the foot, ankle, and lower leg. We use proper draping throughout, and your comfort is always the priority.
How long does it take to feel better?
It depends on the condition. Some settle in a few sessions, while tendon or chronic conditions take longer. We give you an honest picture at your first assessment.
What are your prices?
A new patient foot assessment is £75 for 45 minutes, including a full assessment, hands-on treatment, and a clear plan.
