Common questions

Everything you need to know.

Booking your first session shouldn't feel complicated. Here's what most people ask before getting in touch.

Still got questions?
Do I need a GP referral to book? +
No. You can book directly with us. No GP letter, no waiting list, no referral required. We're a private clinic, so the only person who needs to make the call is you. If you have scans, notes, or a diagnosis already, bring those along; if you don't, we'll work from scratch.
How much does an assessment cost? +
Initial assessments are £74 for 45 minutes. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons. If we use shockwave or gait analysis as part of your treatment, that's included in the session price. We'll always tell you upfront if anything extra applies.
Do you accept health cash plans? +
Yes, we work with Simplyhealth and Medicash. The way it works: you pay for your session as normal, we give you a detailed receipt, and you submit that to your cash plan provider to claim back up to your annual allowance. Worth checking your plan limits before booking so you know what you can recover.
How many sessions will I need? +
Our treatment works in three phases. Phase 1: pain relief. We settle the irritated tissues and get you out of acute pain. Phase 2: strength. We rebuild the tissues and movement patterns that broke down in the first place. Phase 3: long-term resilience. We make sure it doesn't come back. Most patients reach pain-free function within 8 sessions and leave significantly stronger than they started.
What should I bring to my first session? +
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts or leggings are useful for lower-body issues, a vest or t-shirt for shoulder or back work. Any scans, X-rays, or letters from previous care if you have them. A list of any medications you're on. Mostly though, just bring yourself. We'll take it from there.
