Post-Op Rehab · Liverpool City Centre
Post-Operative Physiotherapy Liverpool
Surgery is only half the journey. Structured post-operative rehab is what turns a successful operation into a full recovery, getting you back to strength, movement, and the life you had before.
- Rehab for all major orthopaedic surgeries
- Specialist physiotherapists and sports therapists
- Appointments 8am to 8pm
£75 new patient post-op assessment

Recovery does not end when you leave hospital
A good surgical result can still be let down by poor rehab. After an operation the joint is stiff, the muscles around it have weakened, and movement feels uncertain. Without a structured plan, people often plateau, lose confidence, or develop new compensations that cause problems later.
We work alongside your surgeon's protocol to guide you safely through every phase, from protecting the repair early on to rebuilding full strength and returning to sport, work, and daily life.
- Reduce pain and swelling in the early phase
- Restore movement and range safely within surgical guidelines
- Rebuild strength in muscles that weaken fast after surgery
- Return to sport, work, and life with confidence, not guesswork

Questions? We have got answers
When should I start physiotherapy after surgery?
It depends on the procedure. Some rehab starts within days, guided by your surgeon's protocol, while others begin after a protected healing period. Booking early means we can plan your rehab around the right timeframes from the start.
Do you follow my surgeon's protocol?
Yes. We work to your surgeon's specific protocol and timeframes. If you do not have one, we follow established best-practice guidelines for your procedure.
Which surgeries do you rehabilitate?
All major orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, including knee and hip replacements, ACL and ligament reconstruction, shoulder surgery, Achilles and tendon repairs, foot and ankle surgery, and spinal surgery.
Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. You can book directly as a self-paying patient. We also accept Simplyhealth and Medicash cash plans.
It has been months since my surgery and I am stuck. Can you still help?
Yes. Many people plateau after the initial NHS or hospital physio ends. A structured, progressive programme can often restore strength and movement that has stalled, even well after surgery.
What are your prices?
A new patient post-op assessment is £75 for 45 minutes, including a full assessment, hands-on treatment, and a clear plan.
